What Will You Be Doing?

As a BDC Service Representative , you will be pivotal in ensuring a smooth service appointment experience and providing exceptional customer support. Your role will encompass the following :

  • Managing inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats to arrange service appointments and follow-ups.
  • Initiating proactive outreach for service reminders, recalls, and recovering missed appointments.
  • Delivering precise information regarding vehicle maintenance, warranties, pricing estimates, and recall notifications.
  • Performing post-service follow-ups to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Recording interactions in CRM and scheduling systems, ensuring that all records are thorough and current.
  • Working closely with dealership service advisors and fellow BDC teams to facilitate efficient service operations.
  • Achieving objectives for call volumes, appointment conversions, and customer satisfaction ratings.

Requirements

Hard skills

  • Experience with CRM and scheduling systems
  • Ability to handle high call volumes in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of customer service practices
  • Basic knowledge of automotive services and terminology (preferred)
  • Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with empathy and patience
  • Problem-solving and active listening
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills

  • Experience

  • 1–2 years in BDC, call center, customer service, or automotive service roles
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus
  • Language

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
