Job descriptionSafely operate heavy-duty trucks for hauling pigs to market / other farms and delivering feed to farm sites. Strictly follow all Biosecurity protocols to prevent disease spread. Ensure humane and careful handling of pigs during loading and transport, maintaining proper ventilation. Perform daily pre-trip inspections, basic vehicle maintenance, and report all mechanical defects. Maintain accurate trip and delivery logs.
Qualifications :
- Valid Professional Driver's License with appropriate heavy-vehicle restriction codes A,B,C,D or 8.
- Proven experience driving heavy trucks, preferably in a livestock or agricultural environment.
- Working knowledge of animal welfare and biosecurity procedures for swine / pigs.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (loading / unloading) and work flexible hours.
- High School graduate (or equivalent).
