Financial Reporting Manager

The Financial Reporting Manager is in-charge of collating and analyzing the financial reports of the PH Retail to ensure accuracy of the Financial Statements and all related schedules and reports. She / He performs regular reviews and makes recommendations to improve accounting / financial systems, and assist in special projects involving the backend support of the business and ERP implementation. He / She will assist the AVP / VP in carrying out the Financial Reporting responsibilities of the unit.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Supervises the Financial reporting team both functionally and administratively.
• HR tasks on managing the Work Passes and administration of the HERD system.
• Reviews the Financial reports of each SBU and recommends adjustments to ensure accuracy of reports prior to submission to the Controllership team.
• Coordinates with the F&A Shared services team to ensure that agreed closing activities and timelines are adhered.
• Recommend guidelines and policies to improve operational, administrative and financial standards for PH Retail companies.
• As mandated by the AVP, liaise with external auditors, corporate secretary, and other government agencies on specific tasks.
• During annual external audit, supervises the FR team to ensure audit requirements are submitted on time and agreed audit timeline are complied.
• Closely work with the Tax team in providing them the needed tax schedules and reports.
• Assist in the ERP implementation of PH Retail companies.
• Assist in all special projects requiring involvement of the Financial Reporting team.
• Supervises the Financial Reporting Regional outsourcing team.
