Position Title : IT Support Specialist – Level 2
Work Set-up : Work From Home
Salary : Php 60,000 – Php 70,000
Schedule : 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm PH time
We are seeking a highly skilled Level 2 IT Support Specialist to serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by Level 1 support. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth IT operations by diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, supporting end-users, and maintaining core IT infrastructure. You will also collaborate with senior technical teams and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related concerns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents escalated from Level 1 support.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Support user account management, including Active Directory and Office 365.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure reliability.
- Assist in software deployment, updates, and device configurations.
- Document resolutions, procedures, and contribute to IT knowledge base updates.
Collaboration & Escalation Management
Collaborate with Level 3 and infrastructure teams for unresolved or systemic issues.Provide remote and on-site support to users as required.Mentor and support Level 1 technicians to improve their technical capabilities.Required Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, JIRA, ServiceNow).Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and PC hardware.Knowledge of Google Apps, Office 365 Suite, and remote desktop tools.Understanding of networking technologies including WAN, TCP / IP, and VPN.Experience working within an IT Support or Managed Services environment.Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft are preferred but not required.Your love for Boomering will jump-start with these meaningful engagement activities and perks.
