Job descriptionManage the appointment schedule efficiently, ensuring that all appointments are confirmed and reminders are sent. Coordinate with the dental team to ensure proper patient flow and minimize wait time. Assist with patient check-in and check-out, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Maintain patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Process insurance verifications and authorizations as needed. Assist in processing billing and payments, including handling co-pays and managing accounts. Ensure the front desk area is organized and professional at all times. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and other office correspondence. Assist with office inventory and supplies management. Address patient concerns or complaints in a calm, professional, and compassionate manner. Ensure all patients have a positive experience at the clinic by providing excellent customer service. Work closely with the dental staff, including hygienists and dentists, to ensure smooth patient care and coordination. Assist with any other tasks assigned by the clinic manager or senior staff. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or healthcare administrations is a plus. Previous experience in dental office or healthcare environment is preferred. Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, dental software). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
