Zenon are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a very well-established VVIP Operator based in the Far East for a Head of Airworthiness on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities :
- Establish and develop continuing airworthiness policy and procedures as required by the local authorities and other applicable National Aviation Authorities
- Ensure the development and revision of Maintenance Programs and Minimum Equipment Lists
- Oversee short term and long-term maintenance planning
- Oversee the coordination and monitoring of maintenance activities undertaken by approved 3
rd
Party Maintenance Repair Organization
Assess applicable Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Supplemental Type Certificate modificationsEnsure all aircraft permanent maintenance records and task tracking databases are accurately maintainedEstablish and develop policy and procedure for Maintenance Control Coordination / AOG supportLiaise with OEM’s to ensure effective technical support is received, administer warranty / support programs and to stay abreast of current reliability and / or safety related issuesDevelop and implement initial and continuation / recurrent training programs for departmental staffDevelop and deliver department specific training for all company staffEnsure Occurrence and Hazard reporting is in accordance with applicable regulations and company policyDevelop commercial terms / conditions, marketing strategy and liaise with both existing and potential airworthiness clientsDevelop annual department budget and routinely monitor performance against identified goalsEnsure valid subscriptions to approved data is in place for all managed aircraftEnsure continued validity of company approvals by cooperating with company quality & safety department and ensuring any identified non-conformances are rectifiedMaintain a working knowledge of applicable aviation regulations and industry standardsTo be considered for this opportunity, you should meet the following minimum requirements :
