Defect Analyst Engineer

Rishworth is currently supporting our client, a leading LCC in Asia with their latest project supporting homecoming talent across several departments.

They are currently looking for a Defect Analyst Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical services support as listed in the responsibilities below.

This is a full-time position based in the headquarters with a lucrative joining bonus and mobility assistance for the incumbent and dependents.

Job Responsibilities

• Track maintenance trends through logs and reports and assist in real-time troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft defects during ramp visits.
• Work closely with other Defect Analyst Engineers or Deferred Defect Engineers to issue proper troubleshooting instructions to maintenance providers based on field assessments.
• Randomly inspect the ramp for correctness of OPEN MELs, CDLs, ADDs, and CFIs against recorded snags.
• Formulate strategies for addressing complex and recurring issues and act as DAE / DDE when needed.
• Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS), report hazards / incidents, follow company rules, escalate issues, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
