QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Fluency in English (writing and speaking)
High communication and presentation skills
Mentally and physically fit
Proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and automation software.
Strong understanding of multi-axis robotic systems, pneumatics, industrial control systems, sensors, actuators, and robotics.
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
5+ years of professional automation experience
Experience with CAD software for designing automated systems
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and smart manufacturing technologies.
Experience working in a global team environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
4.1. Design and Development : Design, develop, and implement automated systems and processes for manufacturing and production lines,
ensuring they meet quality standards and improve efficiency.
4.2. Programming : Create and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) configurations, and
other automation software for various equipment and machinery.
4.3. Multi-Axis Robots & Pneumatics : Design and integrate multi-axis robotic systems and pneumatic components into production processes,
ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
4.4. System Integration : Integrate automated systems with existing production equipment, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
4.5. Process Optimization : Analyze current production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement automation solutions to
enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
4.6. Global Collaboration : Work closely with automation colleagues in Europe and Canada to align automation strategies, share best practices, and ensure consistency across global operations.
4.7. Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Perform routine maintenance on automation systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise to minimize production disruptions.
4.8. Collaboration : Work closely with the production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure automation systems align with overall manufacturing goals and quality standards.
4.9. Documentation : Develop and maintain technical documentation for automated systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and user
manuals.
4.10. Training : Provide training and support to production staff on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.
