About the Role
The Operations Control Management (OCM) Manager will be responsible for driving the implementation of the organizations risk management and operational control framework within the Financial Services division. This leadership role oversees risk identification, control testing, and quality assurance initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
The OCM Manager will serve as the designated Risk Manager for the Manila office and will lead a team focused on strengthening process controls, maintaining data integrity within the risk management system, and supporting business units in maintaining operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary risk manager for the local operations hub, providing oversight of risk and control activities.
- Translate strategic risk and compliance directives into clear, actionable plans for the Manila team.
- Lead and mentor the OCM team, ensuring effective execution of quality assurance and risk monitoring processes.
- Manage the execution of risk assessment programs , including process-level and legal entity risk reviews.
- Oversee adherence to corporate risk management procedures such as :
- Risk Event Management
- Legal Entity Risk Framework
- Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
- Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Risk Assessments and Action Planning
- Conduct control effectiveness testing and oversee quality reviews of operational processes.
- Prepare and deliver management reports on risk exposure, testing results, and remediation progress.
- Ensure timely and accurate data maintenance in the risk management system or portal.
- Facilitate risk awareness sessions and internal training programs to promote a strong control culture.
- Lead or participate in risk-related projects , audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to the team to ensure professional growth and accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or related field (Masters degree preferred).At least 57 years of experience in risk management, quality assurance, internal audit, or control management within financial services or professional services industries.Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CPA, or similar are advantageous.Strong knowledge of risk management principles, internal control frameworks, and regulatory standards .Proven experience leading and developing teams in a structured, global organization.Advanced skills in MS Office tools and familiarity with risk management software or platforms.Why Join Us
