The IT Account Manager is responsible for managing and strengthening partnerships between business units and the IT group. The role ensures the end-to-end delivery of IT business needs—from project ideation to implementation—and contributes to the formulation and maintenance of the organization’s IT strategy, encompassing both projects and business-as-usual (BAU) enhancements.
Key Responsibilities :
Align IT initiatives and plans with the goals and strategies of assigned business units.
Conduct regular client engagements to provide updates on priority projects and BAU requests.
Lead ideation and initiation activities for system enhancements and subscriptions.
Coordinate with business units on project budgets, costs, and resource planning.
Define and negotiate project priorities, delivery schedules, and resource allocations.
Assess and evaluate BAU enhancement requests to ensure feasibility and value.
Support the preparation of business cases and high-level requirements documentation.
Build strong partnerships and maintain collaboration with key stakeholders and teams.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of solid experience as an Account Manager focusing on IT projects and BAU enhancements. (Non-negotiable)
At least 3 years in a client-facing role, demonstrating success in managing relationships and delivering IT solutions. (Non-negotiable)
Proven background in Project Management and IT project delivery (as Delivery or Project Manager). (Non-negotiable)
Hands-on experience with Waterfall and Agile frameworks. (Non-negotiable)
Knowledge of Contract Management (e.g., SOW, MA, MITA). (Non-negotiable)
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. (Non-negotiable)
