Job Description
The Pharmacy Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy store, ensuring efficient management of inventory, staff, customer service, and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role combines retail management with pharmacy operations, ensuring that the store runs smoothly, profitably, and in line with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy store.
- Ensure that the store meets all sales, profit, and customer service goals.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and financial reporting.
- Maintain proper store layout, cleanliness, and product display.
Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering of medicines and other pharmacy items.Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize stock discrepancies or expiries.Coordinate with suppliers and distributors for stock replenishment and pricing.Manage controlled drugs in compliance with local regulations.Staff Management
Recruit, train, and supervise pharmacy assistants, cashiers, and support staff.Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing during operating hours.Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.Customer Service
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.Handle customer complaints or escalations professionally and efficiently.Support pharmacists in counseling patients and managing prescriptions when needed.Compliance & Safety
