General Manager

Job Summary

The General Manager will lead and oversee all operations in the Philippines, in partnership with Global Shared Services leadership, ensuring strategic alignment with global objectives while driving local business growth and operational excellence. This role requires a proactive, strategic leader with strong business acumen, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage cross‑functional teams. The General Manager will be accountable for performance, compliance, and fostering a positive, high‑performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the country strategy in partnership with Global Shared Services leadership to achieve growth, profitability, and operational targets.
• In collaboration with Global Shared Services leadership, review and influence budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
• Operational Oversight : Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to company policies and local regulations.
• Talent Management : Partner with HR and Global Shared Services leadership to recruit, develop, and retain top talent; build a high‑performing, engaged workforce.
• Business Development : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, vendors, and government agencies.
• Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure full compliance with local laws, labor regulations, and corporate governance standards.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Work closely with global and regional teams, including Global Shared Services leadership, to align strategies and deliver results.
• Market Intelligence : Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities.
• Brand & Culture Champion : Promote and uphold company values, culture, and brand reputation in the local market.
