Job description

Operate and control specialized machinery such as service rigs, drilling rigs, mud pumps, and piling rigs to perform a wide range of field operations.

Lead and coordinate a crew of workers, providing comprehensive training and guidance on Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safe operating procedures.

Ensure all operations comply with federal, state, and company safety standards by conducting regular safety meetings, performing equipment inspections, and reporting potential hazards.

Carry out pre-operational and post-operational maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, while maintaining detailed service logs and preventive maintenance records.

Keep accurate and up-to-date records of operations, including footage drilled, equipment and materials used, and services performed.

Has an extensive mechanical knowledge, the ability to interpret technical data, and the flexibility to work in various weather conditions, often for long hours.
