We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Head of Lending to lead and grow our microfinance lending portfolio, with a strong focus on supporting sari‑sari stores and small‑scale entrepreneurs in the provinces . This role will be responsible for the overall lending operations including P&L management, sales and collections leadership, credit scoring strategy, and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
P&L Management
- Own and manage the Profit & Loss of the lending business unit.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize portfolio performance and profitability.
- Monitor key financial metrics and adjust plans to meet targets.
Leadership of Sales and Collections
Lead, train, and motivate sales and collection teams across multiple assignments.Set and monitor KPIs to ensure loan disbursement and repayment targets are achieved.Ensure strong field execution and adherence to credit and collection policies.Credit Scoring & Risk Management
Design and implement a credit scoring system tailored to the needs of sari‑sari store owners and informal sector borrowers.Establish risk assessment tools and processes to reduce delinquency and defaults.Monitoring & Reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track portfolio health, team performance, and customer behavior.Provide regular updates and analysis to senior management to support strategic decision‑making.Community and Market Understanding
Leverage deep knowledge of sari‑sari store operations in the provinces to design borrower‑friendly lending products and processes.Build relationships with community leaders and partners to enhance borrower outreach and support.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA a plus).Minimum 5–7 years of experience in microfinance, rural lending, or MSME financing.Proven experience managing lending P&L and leading field teams.Strong understanding of credit risk management and scoring systems.Familiarity with sari‑sari store operations and rural micro‑entrepreneurship.Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Willingness to travel to provincial branches and field locations regularly.#J-18808-Ljbffr
