Job descriptionPerform and supervise daily animal husbandry routines across assigned sections, including accurate feeding, watering, cleaning, and equipment maintenance. Herd Health & Welfare : Monitor the health, behavior, and environment of all swine (sows, boars, piglets, growers). Assist with vaccinations, administering treatments, and implementing animal welfare best practices. Strictly enforce and comply with all farm biosecurity protocols (showering-in / out, vehicle disinfection) and workplace safety regulations. Accurately collect and record essential production data using farm management software. Supervisory Training : Assist the Section Supervisor with managing the workforce, organizing daily tasks, and ensuring adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduate of BS Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Previous hands-on experience in a commercial livestock or swine farm is a strong advantage, but not required for trainees.
