Job Summary :
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating food items in accordance with established recipes, quality, and presentation standards. The role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure timely and high-quality food service.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Prepare and cook all menu items according to company recipes and portion standards.
Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness in the assigned station before, during, and after shifts.
Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented consistently and attractively.
Assist in daily kitchen operations, including prep work and restocking supplies.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
Check and ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Assist with inventory and report low stock or damaged supplies to the Head Chef.
Qualifications :
At least 1 year of experience as a Line Cook or similar role (preferred).
Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
