The Labor Lawyer performs the general duties of an experienced labor and employment attorney by handling employment litigation and other labor / employment matters and advising the Management on legal issues involving employees.

Qualifications

Must have a law degree from a recognized university and passed the bar exam.
At least 3 years’ experience in labor law and litigation.

Problem‑solving skill and analytical mind.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Administrative and managerial skills.

Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.

Duty & Responsibilities

Handle employment litigation independently or largely independently handle litigation and other matters.

Prepare legal briefs and other pleadings.

Handle various aspects of employment related litigation, such as motion hearings, mediations, and depositions.

Determine litigation strategy.

Respond to NLRC, SENA and DOLE charges.

Prepare trial material and assist at pretrial, trial, and post‑trial proceedings.

Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the immediate superior and / or Management.
