Business Development Director

ROLE PURPOSE :

Increase the profitability of the company and enhance share value by developing the growth strategy and strategizing entry points to target markets in the Philippines. Continuously generate new business opportunities and establish strategic and sustainable project pipeline through (1) effective project identification and selection process, (2) diverse business approach / proposals, and innovative deal structures, and (3) excellent stakeholder and client management that would lead to open and acceptable arrangement for all parties. Leads / guides the business proposals (internal and external), submission and negotiation, and successful closing and award of projects. Ensures alignment with overall portfolio management by developing businesses in coordination with current and future Business Units, ensuring assumptions and plans are aligned, accurate, reasonable, executable. Leads a diverse and highly competent work force (direct and non-direct) that is well engaged, earnest, and eager to grow the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Sets goals and develops plans for Business and Revenue Growth

Executes plan for effective and efficient management of resources to fast track project initiatives while having controls to ensure business advantage

Directs budget planning and financial management and modeling for acceptable rate of returns driving revenue growth for the company

Oversees the effective execution of stakeholder management plan

Directs the resource planning activities

Leads the effective execution of IDP for People Development & Management. Drives the team’s competency and excellence in performance and action plan for Vendor Management

Ensure engaged and efficient workforce

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Graduate of a 4-year Engineering Course; Licensed Engineer

With at least 10 years of experience in water and waste water system operations

With technical knowledge of project life cycle related to water, used water and other environmental services

Excellent communication skills and strong entrepreneurial mindset
