Senior Tax Manager

Official title is Senior Tax Manager - but will eventually be Head of Finance

Location : BGC or Makati (Onsite)

Salary Range : PHP 150,000 to 250,000 per month (negotiable, can be streched upon approval)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Tax Manager to lead and manage the companys tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions. The successful candidate will ensure full adherence to Philippine tax laws and regulations while proactively supporting business units with sound tax advice and strategic planning.

This role requires maturity in stakeholder management and strong experience in customs transactions, importation, and cross-border tax matters. Candidates with a background in the automotive industry, auditing firms, or with multi-functional experience across Tax, Business Advisory, Treasury, and Finance or Accounting will be highly considered.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and ensure timely and accurate tax compliance including VAT, EWT, income tax, and customs duties
• Lead tax planning strategies for domestic and international transactions, especially involving importation and cross-border dealings
• Provide advisory support on complex tax matters, particularly in customs tax and importation rules
• Handle relationships with BIR and other government agencies to ensure compliance and resolve issues
• Lead internal and external tax audits
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory requirements
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential business impacts
