Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of the company’s IT payment solution platforms.
- Drive operational excellence through process optimization, service delivery, and performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs, etc.).
- Ensure smooth integration and functioning of payment processing systems (real-time, batch, mobile, digital wallets, etc.).
Technology Strategy & Innovation :
Collaborate with the CTO and technology teams to align operational capabilities with the product roadmap.Oversee deployment and maintenance of high-performance, secure, and compliant payment infrastructures.Identify and implement emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage in the payments industry.Risk & Compliance Management :
Ensure full compliance with industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO standards, local financial regulations).Manage risk assessment processes related to IT operations, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and data privacy.Lead incident response protocols and ensure business continuity planning is in place.Stakeholder & Vendor Management :
Build strong relationships with banks, payment gateways, fintech partners, and third‑party vendors.Negotiate service contracts and evaluate vendors for technical compatibility and operational efficiency.Financial & Strategic Planning :
Develop and manage the operational budget in collaboration with the CFO.Participate in corporate strategy development and execution, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.Report key operational metrics and progress to the CEO and Board of Directors.Team Development & Culture :
Lead, mentor, and scale high‑performing teams across operations, technology, compliance, and customer service.Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s / MBA preferred).10–15+ years of experience in IT, fintech, or payment processing, including 5+ years in an executive or senior leadership role.Proven experience managing large-scale payment platforms or financial transaction systems.Deep understanding of the payment’s ecosystem : acquiring, issuing, POS, mobile payments, cross-border transactions, etc.Strong knowledge of compliance, risk, cybersecurity, and regulatory frameworks related to payments.Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive operational excellence at scale.Key Competencies :
