Auto Mechanic

Qualifications & Skills :

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with completion of a relevant vocational program and certification (e.g., ASE Certification) or equivalent.

Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as Auto Mechanic or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components, as well as diagnostic tools and repair techniques.

Ability to work with computerized diagnostic equipment.

Physical strength and stamina to work on vehicles for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Willing to work in Mandaluyong City.

1 Full time position, direct hire.

Responsibilities :

Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical / electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.

Conduct diagnostic testing to identify issues with vehicles.

Performing basic automotive care, including changing fluids (e.g. oil), repairing or replacing worn, old, or defective parts of a car and or truck, aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.

Schedule future maintenance sessions and advice drivers on good vehicle use practices.

Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, and effort) for a repair or maintenance job.

Maintain work logs, repair and maintenance records.

Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment (e.g. forklift) as needed.

Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly.

Test drive vehicles after repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Perform related tasks as required.
