Job Summary :
The Branch Quality Assurance Officer ensures that all branches operate in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. This role conducts regular physical and digital branch audits, verifies jewelry, gadgets, and forex appraisals, checks operational accuracy, and recommends improvements. The position is vital for maintaining operational integrity and consistent service quality across all branches.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Conduct branch compliance audits to ensure adherence to BSP rules, internal policies, and government regulations.
Perform physical and digital appraisal verification of jewelry, gadgets, and forex transactions for accuracy and completeness.
Assess branch operations, including :
Cash on Hand (COH) : Validate accuracy and proper accounting of branch cash assets.
Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) : Check completeness, maintenance, and proper utilization.
Operational SOPs : Ensure branch activities align with established policies and procedures.
Verify proper implementation of security standards and company policies.
Document audit findings and submit reports with recommendations for corrective action.
Handle special assignments such as vault stock turnover and vault combination changes.
Ensure branch records, books, and receipts are updated, accurate, and properly issued.
Uphold integrity in all audit transactions and maintain proper documentation and transparency.
Participate in training to enhance technical proficiency in appraisals, SOPs, POS, and related systems.
Maintain appraisal tools and company-provided equipment in good working condition.
Prepare weekly work plans based on assigned audit areas and objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications :
At least college level in any related course.
Minimum 3 years of experience in branch operations, auditing, or related functions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledgeable in jewelry, gadgets, and forex appraisal.
Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
Team player with objectivity and sound judgment.
Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork assignments.
Ability to work under pressure and uphold the highest standards of integrity.
