We’re looking for a skilled leader and highly analytical and detail-oriented Actuarial Director to join our Actuarial Function at MBPS. As a senior expert, you’ll manage leaders and high-performing teams to deliver to the standard the MBPS Actuarial team has defined through years of excellent service while overseeing individual tasks, driving strategic initiatives, and various additional responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead and support a skilled team of actuaries to support the company’s strategic data analysis, risk assessment, and business planning
Provides strong, proactive leadership and coaching to a team of actuarial professionals. Allocates and monitors work of the team to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments within the established timeframes and quality standards.
Makes decisions regarding employment, compensation, performance appraisals, training and development.Cultivates an innovative environment by supporting creativity and high-performance teamwork.Support the business in tasks which may be within the following functional areas :Valuation

Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or other related fields of studyMinimum 10 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial ServicesFellowship designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP) is preferredStrong communication and leadership skills with the ability to build camaraderie across levels and business functionsResults oriented, able to manage expectations, work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.Strong business acumen with ability to communicate complex Actuarial concepts and results in a clear, concise, easy to understand manner.Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python or similar programsAble to work in an evolving and dynamic environmentPassion to grow and driven to be recognized as a trusted business partnerAmenable to work UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)Amenable to work on a hybrid set‑up (3x a week onsite)When you join our team
