Responsibilities

• Design and govern RHOCP architecture across multi‑cluster, multi‑cloud environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise performance, security, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
• Develop technical roadmap for OpenShift and related cloud‑native services (service mesh, serverless, data services, GitOps).
• Establish architectural standards, patterns, and blueprints for application modernization, migration, and new cloud‑native development on OpenShift.
• Oversee capacity planning, resource optimization, and infrastructure provisioning across on‑premise, public cloud, and edge environments.
• Lead engineering teams on design decisions, technical implementations, and proof‑of‑concept projects.
• Design and implement robust DevSecOps pipelines (CI / CD) on OpenShift using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Tekton.
• Architect security controls, network policies, identity management, and logging / monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / Loki) to meet regulatory requirements.
• Engage with business leaders, application development teams, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into OpenShift‑based solutions.
• Mentor and train cloud and DevOps engineers on RHOCP concepts, administration, and advanced features.
• Collaborate with Red Hat and other vendors to stay current on product roadmaps and support strategies.
