The Head of Legal will serve as the chief legal advisor of The Aivee Group, overseeing all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across the organization. This role ensures that the company operates within the law, mitigates risks, protects its assets and reputation, and supports business leaders through expert counsel on strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned legal professional with strong leadership skills, excellent judgment, and deep experience in corporate, labor, regulatory, and contract law.
Legal Advisory & Strategy
- Provide expert legal advice to senior management on business decisions, operational issues, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement the legal strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Interpret and apply relevant laws, rules, and regulations impacting the business.
Corporate & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure company-wide compliance with all statutory requirements, including DOH, FDA, SEC, DTI, DOLE, BIR, and other regulatory bodies.Oversee licensing, permits, regulatory filings, audits, and renewal processes.Develop, update, and enforce internal policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.Contract Management
Draft, review, and negotiate all contracts, MOUs, and agreements (supplier contracts, partnerships, leases, employment documents, vendor agreements, NDAs, etc.).Establish contract management systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely renewals.Labor & Employment Law
Advise HR and leadership on labor matters, disciplinary actions, terminations, labor standards compliance, and dispute resolution.Ensure company practices are aligned with DOLE regulations and relevant jurisprudence.Manage and oversee all litigation, disputes, and claims involving the company.Develop risk-mitigation strategies and proactively identify legal vulnerabilities.Liaise with external legal counsels and government agencies when necessary.Lead and develop the Legal and Compliance team.Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and Executive Management.Conduct legal orientations, policy briefings, and compliance training for employees.Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (LLB / JD) and Member of the Philippine Bar in good standing.Minimum of five (5) years experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, labor law, or related practice.Experience in the healthcare, aesthetics, or medical industry is an advantage.Strong knowledge of Philippine laws, regulations, and corporate governance.Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Proven leadership experience managing legal teams or legal functions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
