Overview of the Role
The Bookkeeping Assistant will complete data entry, process disbursements, record transactions, update the ledger, and assist in reviewing and preparing periodic financial reporting, and statutory and management reports.
Main duties include :
- Preparation, review, and reconciliation of the financial reports
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts and invoices
- Assist with preparation for annual audits
- Providing procedural, technical, and administrative assistance
- Other bookkeeping-related tasks assigned by the leader
Requirements
Graduate of BS Accounting, Business Administration and other related coursesAt least 1-year experience in accounting and bookkeepingKnowledgeable in accounting software such as XERO, Quickbooks, and other accounting softwaresThorough understanding of the Australian Tax Laws both Federal and State is nice to have but not requiredGood written and verbal communication skillsKeen to detailsHave a client communication experienceBenefits
