This is a remote position.

PERMANENT REMOTE, DAYSHIFT

Job Title: Structural Drafter / Project Coordinator (preferably female)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Drafter with Project Coordination experience

to support structural engineering projects from concept through construction

documentation. This role blends hands-on drafting with active coordination across

engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure drawings are accurate,

compliant, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Drafting

Prepare detailed structural drawings, plans, sections, and details based on

engineering designs and specifications

Produce drawings for concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures

Collaborate closely with structural engineers to interpret calculations and design

intent

Update and revise drawings based on engineer feedback, client changes, or site

conditions

Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations

Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper version control

Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, civil, MEP) to resolve clashes and

inconsistencies

Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction

documentation

Support project deadlines by managing multiple tasks efficiently

Project Coordination

Act as a key liaison between structural engineers, project managers, and external

consultants

Coordinate drawing inputs, deadlines, and approvals across multiple stakeholders

Track project milestones, deliverables, and drawing issue schedules

Assist with RFIs, design clarifications, and coordination meetings

Support project documentation, reporting, and status updates

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Drafting, or related field

Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural drafting and supporting or

coordinating engineering or construction projects

Strong understanding of structural systems and construction methods

Experience working with engineers and multidisciplinary teams

Should have AU exp.

Requirements
