Our Global Shared Services (GSS) team is building a leading organization rooted in a culture of continuous improvement, clean process design, and adoption of the latest technology and automation innovations. We are very excited to welcome a new Global Supply Chain Planner-Raw Materials!
The role is based in our Manila HUB (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems. You will be responsible for ensuring global six-sigma raw material availability to deliver 98% on-time performance to customers via operational buying, continuous improvement, and vendor management. The position will report to the Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager or relevant supervisor.
HOW YOU WILL LEAD AND CONTRIBUTE:
• Daily management of demands from manufacturing plants and making the purchases to replenish stock including monitoring, follow-up including inbound deliveries and resolving raw material shortages.
• Liaise with the Local Material Coordinators/ site supply chain managers to ensure a smooth and aligned day-to-day planning process.
• Together with the procurement department, work with vendors to improve processes and performance, delivery schedules, supplier relationships.
• Optimization and continuous improvement of raw material availability, global inventory days, inventory write-off and obsolete/slow moving inventory.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives as the accountable person for Fragrances raw material planning.
Job Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• Bachelor/Academic degree in logistics, supply management, operations management or relevant discipline
• Understanding of MRP and / or related applications in managing demand and supply and the material flow through the supply chain. (in example SAP MRP)
• Ability to manage expectations in an international environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders from various functions
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Great communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Experience in a role that required a deep understanding of customer requirements.
• Dynamic and proactive; Great problem solver.
