JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a CPA-qualified Management Accountant to strengthen its finance function through high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and commercial insight. This role is not focused on statutory or compliance accounting, but rather on reviewing, analysing, and interpreting financial data to support better business decision-making.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large data sets, identifying trends, and providing meaningful insights to stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and review management reports, budgets, and forecasts
Analyse financial performance, variances, and trends
Provide insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions
Review financial data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Financial Support & Business Partnering
Support internal stakeholders with financial analysis and reporting needs
Assist in financial modelling and scenario analysis
Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
Data Review & Process Improvement
Review and validate financial data from multiple sources
Identify inefficiencies, risks, or anomalies in financial information
Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems
Requirements
SKILLS:
Essential
CPA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong background in management accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance
Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail
High proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
Ability to interpret and explain financial data clearly
Experience working with Australian businesses or financial frameworks
Desirable
Experience working remotely or offshore
Exposure to ERP or accounting systems (e.g. Xero, MYOB, NetSuite, SAP)
Experience supporting fast-paced or growing organisations
