Role Summary :
In this role, the Assistant Vice President for Inside Sales is responsible for leading and managing a mid-sized inbound / outbound sales unit driving revenue growth across assigned portfolios. The role includes direct leadership of Sales Associates and a Sales Manager overseeing enrollment activities. Supervisory responsibilities, strategic execution, and people leadership are central to all work activities. The AVP will have shared responsibility for achieving sales targets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the timely delivery of results. This roles impact is primarily on closely related work teams across the sales group.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 40 Sales Associates and 1-2 exempt staff (including a Sales Manager handling enrollments) specializing in outbound / inbound sales campaigns.
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for frontline Sales Associates, setting clear expectations for performance and customer engagement.
- Identify sales opportunities, define key tactics, and execute both strategic and hands-on action plans to maximize sales effectiveness and revenue outcomes.
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with key clients and partners; model effective relationship management and coach team members to emulate best practices.
- Partner with Sales Operations, HR, strategy, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation of sales strategies and alignment with business portfolio goals.
- Actively engages with the sales leadership and client team, including participation in sales processes improvements, client strategy planning, standardizing sales tools and approach, and leading other continuous improvement initiatives
- Regularly analyze team and individual sales performance, pipeline metrics, conversion rates, trends, and problem areas. Develop and implement action plans to address gaps and maximize results.
- Ensure sales deliverables are met by following through on execution, monitoring progress, and providing performance updates to senior leadership as needed.
- Develop the Sales Manager and frontline associates through regular coaching, feedback, and ongoing professional development, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
- Use sound judgment in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making decisions that impact sales effectiveness.
- Supports Health and Wellness Client Initiatives team with special projects and priorities.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelors degree, with minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume inbound / outbound sales or call center sales setting.Minimum of 4 years supervisory or management experience in a sales or call center environment, driving target-based programs and leading teams.Demonstrated track record of successfully coaching, developing, and managing sales teams to achieve measurable goals.Extensive outbound / inbound sales experience in a call center environment, including direct client relationship management.Proven ability to drive initiatives that improve team performance, sales conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.Demonstrated relationship-building, influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills at all levels.Ability to lead by example, combining strategic thinking with hands-on implementation and direct accountability for results.Flexible and adaptable approach, with a growth mindset and willingness to drive change.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) or comparable CRM / sales tools.Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.Work Location : Muntinlupa
