About the Role
The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for the execution of agency management and governance in assigned sector to drive Activation & Productivity in support of Agency Distribution.
Major responsibility is agency expansion both through organic and inorganic growth strategies.
- Conducts of agency meetings, leaders’ meetings, performance review meetings, business planning, career orientation programs, training programs, management programs, and planning sessions as required by the sector and agencies under the sector.
- Aids the agencies under the sector with the promotion and monitoring of sales and recruitment programs and campaigns.
- Undertakes recruitment activities to increase the number of leaders and agents.
- Ensures efficient delivery of services related to licensing, agency benefits, and agency relations in coordination with Agency Operations – Agency Services.
- Supports the Sales Management Team in the resolution of agency conflicts and agency-related issues.
- Execute Advisor Programs that directly contribute to achieving company goals, objectives and business targets
- Enable Agency Leaders to drive activation in their own agencies / units through ACE and Business Reviews
- Provide relevant feedback to other teams from day-to-day observations and feedback from the Agency
- Oversee overall agency operations of the sector through (1) agency team meetings to provide clear communication of company policies, sales incentives, campaign promotions, product marketing and performance updates (2) regular agency events, such as group and individual BOPs, as needed
- Facilitate orientations and coach agency on understanding and maximizing the Agency compensation scheme and career path
- Conduct orientations and coach agency on utilizing the Advisor and Leader training roadmap and create activities and programs to influence agency leaders on developing advisors to become MDRTs and develop new agency leaders.
