Job description

The basic purpose of the job

• Mainly responsible for Service Center Controlling and Statutory Reporting. The role covers the Controlling function of one of the Service Centers, Statutory Reporting, Tax, and Fixed Asset analysis, and reporting of BIBSPI. The role also includes Government Agencies Compliance and Reporting such as PEZA ( Philippine Export Processing Zone Authority etc.
• Controlling covers adherence on Internal reporting requirements. It also includes in depth analysis and reporting of primary and secondary costs linked to all areas of GBSC and ITSC MNL. This also includes ongoing review and reporting as well as preparation and finalization of month end and year end closing activities. Task also involved solid preparation and reporting of planning events( Outlook and LTF).
• Finance covers adherence to the external reporting requirements which includes review and reporting of Financial Statements. It also includes month end and year end closing activities such as account reconciliations and accruals. During year-end,it ensures overall coordination with external auditors and the preparation, review and submission of audited Financial Statements.
• Performs Fixed Asset / CAPEX monitoring, analysis and planning.
• Responsible for the preparation, review and reporting of tax data. Monthly / Annual relevant documents / postings have to be sent to the tax advisor / SGV for their preparation subject to the Finance and Admin manager review before submission to Local Tax Authorities - Bureau of Internal Revenue ( BIR).
• Senior Specialist Finance and Admin is also responsible for PEZA ( Philippine Economic Zone Authority) reporting and compliance. This encompasses monthly recurring financial reports as well as annual reports. An important aspect is the timely renewals of licenses such as PEZA licenses as well as VAT and Incentive reporting.
• Overall coordination and responsible of annual financial statement audit; and preparation, review and submission of Financial Statement of BIBSPI to all local regulatory bodies such as SEC, BIR and PEZA.
• Periodic and ad-hoc review of all costs / bookings. This includes monthly account reconciliation.
• Conduct diligent monthly tax reporting. This shall include the forwarding of relevant documents to Tax Advisor / SGV for the preparation of the tax reports. Finance and Admin to review the report from SGV and forward it to BIR.
• CAPEX / Fixed Asset monitoring,analysis and reporting of data during Outlook,Budget and LTF.
• Regular (monthly and annual) reporting to PEZA. This includes monthly recurring financial reports as well as annual reports. Timely renewals of licenses such as PEZA licenses as well as VAT and Incentive reporting.
• Periodic and ad-hoc review of all costs occurred by GBSC and ITSC MNL. This shall include Actual vs. Budget vs. Outlook.
• Perform month and year end closing activities for both Controlling and Finance.
