We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our client's team and drive the design, development, and implementation of advanced data warehouse solutions. In this role, you will build and optimize data pipelines, models, and infrastructure to support analytics and reporting across Clinical, Patient Accounting, and Corporate functions, playing a key role in ensuring scalability, automation, and efficiency in data processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that strengthen business decision-making. This position is cloud-facing and requires hands-on expertise in modern cloud-based data technologies such as Google BigQuery or equivalent. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong foundation in SQL and data warehousing, capable of identifying process improvements, enhancing system performance, and ensuring data integrity, while also partnering closely with stakeholders, mentoring peers through code reviews, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldStrong SQL and relational database design / development expertiseProven hands-on experience in data warehousing development (Teradata BTEQ, Oracle PL / SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, Netezza, or equivalent) with the ability and willingness to adapt to Google BigQuerySkilled in building and optimizing large-scale data sets, data pipelines, and architecturesStrong experience in data modeling and data warehouse designAbility to perform root cause analysis and deliver process improvements across structured and unstructured dataProficiency in cloud-based data warehouse technologies such as Google BigQuery or similarExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsWilling to work on-site on training for 1-2 weeks at BGC, Taguig for IT Asset CollectionWilling to work in US hours (graveyard shift)Preferred :
Experience in healthcare data systems or patient financial service systemsFamiliarity with big data tools such as Kafka and SparkKnowledge of workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow) and programming / scripting languages, including Python, Scala, Java, or C++Understanding of hospital information systems and healthcare system integration (Cerner, Meditech, CPSI, Allscripts, EPIC, McKesson, NextGen)Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted; updating / tailoring CV is highly recommended
