The Opportunity :
This role is pivotal in initiating, developing, and sustaining Lean manufacturing concepts, mentoring project teams, and ensuring the efficient execution of cost reduction and workflow optimization initiatives. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and directly contributing to Allegro's operational efficiency and financial objectives.
What You Will Do :
Lean Program Leadership : Initiate, design, develop, and implement Lean manufacturing concepts and programs, ensuring their long-term sustainability.
Project Mentorship & Support : Serve as a mentor to project teams, acting as a bridge between teams and Lean leadership to ensure action items are addressed and completed.
Lean Execution & Optimization : Execute Lean manufacturing techniques, identify and implement cost reductions, and optimize workflow and cell designs for improved shop throughput.
Continuous Improvement Projects : Plan, execute, and manage continuous improvement projects to achieve defined objectives and financial targets.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Regularly track progress, milestones, and savings of active projects. Conduct and participate in meetings to assess the execution and thoroughness of Lean content, generating and presenting reports as required.
Communication & Training : Communicate the Lean group’s philosophy, vision, and expectations. Develop and sustain employee training and development on Lean concepts, and establish measurement systems supporting the Lean manufacturing philosophy.
Value Stream Mapping : Lead value stream mapping exercises to identify and record business improvement areas, and develop implementation plans to achieve future state objectives.
Operational Partnership : Partner with Lean Champions to train and coach operations on Lean concepts, assisting in the Lean deployment program through process improvement and efficiency recommendations.
Budget Management : Plan and manage expense budget objectives and capital items related to Lean initiatives.
What You Will Bring :
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any Engineering discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing.
Proven experience and strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and their practical application.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Degree in Industrial Engineering or any Engineering courses with a minimum of 2 yrs experience in Lean Manufacturing.
With experience in Lean Mfg. & Six Sigma Concepts job and functions.
