Overview :
As the Operations Director, you will lead and own the operational backbone of PS Global Consulting. In this strategic leadership role you will ensure that our consulting operations – spanning service delivery, implementation, client support, resource management, and growth enablement – run smoothly, efficiently and are fully aligned with our business strategy. You will drive operational excellence, implement scalable processes, leverage technology in ERP engagements and optimise resource utilisation in a dynamic consulting environment.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Define, implement and continually refine the operational strategy and roadmap in alignment with PS Global Consulting’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership (sales, consulting practice, finance, HR) to ensure operations support the growth, profitability and client‑delivery model.
- Translate strategy into tactical operational plans, metrics and governance frameworks.
- Lead change management initiatives to scale operations, improve performance and embed best practices across consulting functions.
- Lead operational harmonisation efforts for new company acquisitions.
- Represent operations in board / executive briefings, providing data‑driven insights and forward‑looking recommendations.
- Ensure that operational processes support high standards of service, on‑time delivery and efficiency.
2. Process Improvement & Technology Enablement
Identify inefficiencies in current operations and lead continuous improvement initiatives – process automation, standardisation, operational KPIs.Establish and enforce operational excellence through clear policies, well‑defined procedures, and robust performance standards.Monitor operational efficiency and implement data‑driven improvements.Leverage ERP / IT tools, dashboards, analytics and operational systems to drive transparency, performance and decision‑making.Manage operational budgets, cost control, profitability and resource cost metrics for delivery operations.Provide operational input to business cases, pricing models, margin improvement and financial forecasting.Collaborate with Finance leadership to monitor operational KPIs (utilisation, billable vs non‑billable, delivery margin, overheads) and drive performance optimisation.Ensure operations comply with relevant regulatory, contractual and industry standards.Identify operational risks (resource, delivery, vendor, technology) and implement mitigation strategies (business continuity, quality assurance, vendor governance).Develop and maintain operational performance health, delivery excellence and client satisfaction.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, IT or related field or equivalent preferred.10‑15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, preferably within IT / ERP consulting, professional services or implementation business.Proven track record in managing delivery operations, resource capacity planning and project performance in a fast‑paced environment.Strong commercial acumen, financial literacy (budgeting, forecasting, margin management) and operational metrics orientation.Demonstrated experience driving process improvement, operational transformation and technology‑enabled operations.Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders, cross‑functional teams and clients.Familiarity with ERP implementation lifecycle (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), consulting service delivery, and relevant tools (PM software, analytics, dashboards).Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable operational improvement.Comfort in a dynamic consulting environment, able to adapt to change and lead teams through transition.Seniority level
