Tax Manager

This is a remote position.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM EST

Total Weekly Hours : 40 Hours

Our client is seeking an Experienced CPA – Tax Manager with extensive expertise in corporate, partnership, and international taxation. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional who thrives on complex challenges, enjoys strategic tax planning, and can work independently in a flexible, remote environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review C Corporation (1120) and S Corporation (1120S) tax returns, including consolidated and multi-state filings.

Prepare and review Partnership (1065) tax returns.

Provide proactive advice on tax-saving strategies, structuring, and compliance.

Manage international tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 8865, 8886, FBAR (FinCEN 114), Subpart F income, and GILTI.

Conduct in-depth tax research to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.

Utilize Drake Tax Software for tax preparation and e-filing.

Communicate with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and provide strategic guidance.

Stay current on U.S. tax law changes, particularly those affecting corporations and international reporting.

Requirements

Active CPA license required.

15+ years of experience in tax compliance and advisory for business entities.

Proficiency with Drake Tax Software.

Expertise in C Corp, S Corp, and Partnership taxation.

Advanced knowledge of international tax compliance.

Exceptional research, problem-solving, and client communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
