An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product / technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

  • Responsibilities

  • Provide implementation services to new and existing customers.
  • Document and validate customer’s business requirements and map to NetSuite functionality.
  • Configure / customize NetSuite application to meet customer’s business requirements.
  • Conduct consulting sessions (on-the-phone and in-person) and document with meeting minute summaries.
  • Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables.
  • Support the sales cycle through solution review and feedback, and assistance with scoping and estimation.
  • Document solutions and contribute to solutions repository.
  • Document Best Practices and share with PS practice.
  • Participate in SME program in area(s) of interest and expertise.
  • Contribute to internal PS knowledge share; review posted feedback on a continuous basis.
  • Participate in Continuing Education sessions.
  • Be fully versed on functionality released with each new product upgrade.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of numerous factors.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Document, troubleshoot and escalates support issues outside defined parameters.
  • Resolve routine issues per defined parameters and procedures, and elevate when necessary.
  • Document reusable solutions.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
  • Understand theories, concepts, principles and techniques to handle most situations without guidance.
  • Quickly assess customer needs, develop innovative plans to solve complex business workflows and implement these plans in the NetSuite environment.
  • Possess a passion for helping customers find creative ways to more effectively run their businesses.
  • Determine methods and procedures on new job assignments and may coordinate and / or lead team activities.
  • Independently organize and perform most work required within area.
  • Influence customers to modify current business practices, as required.
  • Manage scope and expectations with the customer.
  • Engage in the sales / account management process with little or no guidance from management.
  • Establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work within project teams and collaborate cross‑departmentally.
  • Communicate effectively with functional and technical resources.
  • Demonstrate full competence in business function.
  • Manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrate exceptional financial and business skills.
  • Experience with software in a SaaS environment including accounting, sales force automation, marketing campaigns and web presence.
  • Consulting experience with QuickBooks, Great Plains / Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce.com, Upshot, ACT, Goldmine, MAS 90, Siebel, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, NetSuite.
  • Pre‑sales consulting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Management Information Systems.
  • Master’s degree or postgraduate coursework preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experience in systems applications consulting with a consulting firm or software provider.
  • 3+ years in Consultant role with NetSuite Professional Services.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in at least 2 major areas of NetSuite functionality – i.e. ERP, CRM, e‑commerce, OpenAir.
  • Regularly exceed personal utilization targets on a quarterly basis.
  • Exceed customer reference targets and customer satisfaction survey score targets.
  • Contribute to internal PS knowledge share.
  • Active participant in NetSuite mentoring program.
  • Support the sales process as a PS subject matter expert, with minimal guidance from management.
  • Ability to lead a team of consultants on large PS engagements.
  • Reports to team leads / practice manager.
  • Career level – IC3.
