Job descriptionOrganize and manage preventative maintenance programs in Yardi Maintenance IQ, ensuring timely completion by superintendents or vendors. Track, coordinate, and relay unit access information for maintenance and third‑party vendor activities. Maintain detailed documentation for preventative maintenance visits, inspections, and repair activities. Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures across the property portfolio. Build and maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of building systems and equipment (e.g., HVAC units, stoves, refrigerators, and appliances) within Yardi. Coordinate inspections with insurance adjusters, financial institutions, and compliance authorities. Maintain and track compliance‑related documentation, ensuring service contracts (e.g., fire extinguishers, elevator inspections, sprinkler systems) are completed and filed. Work with vendors and superintendents to complete punch list items from Property Condition Assessments (PCAs). Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all maintenance and capital projects meet standards and timelines. Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, cost efficiency, and operational performance. Must have at least three (3) years experience in U.S.‑based property management or related real estate. Background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Experience using Yardi Maintenance IQ or similar maintenance management platforms. Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects. Clear and coherent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and residents.
