Your impact
- Will provide support, coordination and advice of safety practices, systems and procedures within defined workplaces.
- Will monitor compliance with the safety systems and procedures within the workplace and provide operational support to the Project Management Teams and Leadership Teams in your designated operations.
- Promote HSE Leadership & Culture: Drive Jacobs BeyondZero values, deliver training, and enhance safety awareness across operations.
- Conduct Audits & Ensure Compliance: Perform HSE audits, inspections, and review project-specific safety plans and systems of work.
- Manage Incidents & Reporting: Oversee contractor investigations, ensure proper classification, root cause analysis, and timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with HR, contractors, and project teams on planning, RTW programs, and safety in design initiatives.
- Coordinate Communication & Performance: Manage safety alerts, incident updates, KPI tracking, and present performance analysis to leadership.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Support regional initiatives, maintain regulatory knowledge, and participate in external networking and technical development.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) preferred.
- 5+ years of HSE experience in construction, engineering, or industrial projects, including audits, inspections, and incident management.
- Strong knowledge of HSE Management Systems, Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS), and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for coaching, mentoring, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to analyze safety performance data, prepare reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
