Job Description : Mechanical Engineer
Position Overview :
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and compliance with safety and engineering standards. A valid PRC License (Mechanical Engineer) is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, machines, and equipment.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments for projects.
Perform stress, load, and material strength calculations to ensure safety and efficiency.
Supervise installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, project managers, and technicians.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and engineering codes.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations for process improvement.
Stay updated with latest engineering innovations and technologies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Licensed Mechanical Engineer with valid PRC ID (required).
Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in mechanical design, construction, or maintenance (fresh board passers may also be considered depending on company policy).
Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
Strong background in thermodynamics, hydraulics, and materials science.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment :
Office-based with site / project visits as required.
May involve occasional fieldwork or travel depending on project needs.
