Job Description
The Head of SCM Services is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Supply Chain services, acting as the primary business partner and customer-facing representative while providing expert guidance on service transitions. The role ensures end-to-end service delivery meets SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements, leads SCM teams across logistics and procurement, and drives continuous improvement, quality, compliance, and best practices to support enterprise business and financial objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary contact of the Company for consultation on transfer projects for SCM Services(identifying and analyzing potentials).
- Be involved in the planning and execution of transition projects from other locations into the Company, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations, industry best practices and the like while ensuring the transfers are done in a way that is best for the Company context in the most cost-efficient and quality-driven way.
- Responsible for overseeing and running the operations of the services being delivered from the Company to the various subsidiaries it supports and ensuring all KPIs and SLAs are met and reported out to stakeholders accordingly.
- Responsible for Strategic, Operational, and Technical Leadership for the teams composed of professionals with varied, in-depth, or niche technical knowledge and abilities; consolidating their work and ensuring its quality and accuracy, especially for reporting purposes.
- Acts as the people manager for the associates and team leads delivering the service, ensuring compliance with SLAs and fulfilling the administrative tasks that go along with it.
- Improve and standardize SCM Service processes to enhance efficiency and the quality of work delivered.
- Address concerns of finance counterparts and collaborate with them to effectively execute services.
- Manage strategic planning initiatives, changes, governance infrastructure and risk management
