The Area Manager supports BYU-Pathway Worldwide by overseeing field operations and program implementation in the Philippines Area. This role works closely with senior ecclesiastical leaders, Seminaries & Institutes (S&I), Self-Reliance Services, and BYU-Pathway missionaries to ensure strong partnerships, program growth, and a high-quality student experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with S&I leaders, priesthood leaders, and BYU-Pathway missionaries
- Recruit, train, and lead 100+ Church Service Missionaries across assigned areas
- Support student success by monitoring enrollment, retention, and program quality
- Assist in identifying, approving, and launching new BYU-Pathway sites
- Conduct strategic site visits and provide regular updates to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal BYU-Pathway departments (Admissions, Student Support, Curriculum,
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology product management.
- Experience managing projects or programs and solving problems with a team
- Refined public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to work well with people, including senior ecclesiastical leaders, Church employees, as well as in teams and committees
- Effective and engaging communication skills, including video conferencing and polished writing
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Higher ed. administration, S&I administration, or public management experience is a plus
