Job descriptionMust have an active PHRN License. Holds an active CIC or CCS certification. At least 5 years of experience in inpatient and / or outpatient coding with exposure to multiple specialties. Minimum of 1 year experience in transplant cases. What You’ll Do :
- Conduct audits across various medical coding specialties in inpatient and / or outpatient settings to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with official guidelines.
- Provide detailed rationales and supporting references for recommendations and findings.
- Utilize industry-recognized standards such as :
- ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
- AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding
- AHIMA Practice Guidelines
