Qualifications
- Graduate of Juris Doctor and a member of Philippine Bar with good standing.
- With at least 10 years of experience in law firm as a lawyer and handled litigation cases.
- At least 5 years of experience in senior level management position.
- Must possess strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess strong communication skills in English (oral and written)
Responsibilities
A. Legal Review and RecommendationConduct comprehensive review on highly‑critical legal documents, ensuring the statements, terms, obligations, and other stipulations thereto are not detrimental to companys interest.
Provide legal recommendation on the highly‑critical matters being referred to the Legal Department, considering the legal risk and potential outcome of proposed actions.Identify potential risks, threats, and issues arising from the existing documents and other issuances, and provide remedies / recommended solutions.B. Legal ConsultationRender advice and provide recommendation to department heads and business unit heads on legal matters concerning corporate affairs, labor relations, conflict resolution, and other things which has legal implication.
C. RepresentationRepresent the company in correspondences with external party in view of high‑stake negotiation and external conflict resolution.
Participate in the negotiation of contract as lead negotiator or observant, in negotiation of high‑stake special contracts that bears legal risk.Represent the company in negotiation of agreements, conflict resolution with external party, mediation proceedings court, and arbitration, and coordinate with engaged lawyers for specific cases.#J-18808-Ljbffr
