POSITION SUMMARY
Vertiv is hiring a Junior Instructional Designer in Manila, PH to enable end-user learning and adoption of standard processes for Vertiv’s Continuous Improvement Teams, supporting Operations, Finance, Services, and Sales, and the Enterprise Systems that enable them. This role will help to enable end-user awareness, desire, learning, and adoption of new global business platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with track leads and subject matter experts to develop performance support materials and training.Ensure all content aligns with the Enterprise Systems Training strategy.Partner with business stakeholders and team members to support inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding distance education courses.Develop content across multiple learning formats (eLearning, instructor-led training, webinars, video), primarily focusing on creating online learning materials.Address changes and feedback to meet deliverables on time.QUALIFICATIONS
0 to 3 years of experience in a Functional Training, Instructional Design, or Systems Training role.Sound understanding of adult learning theory and training models (ADDIE).Sound technical writing and Instructional Design skills as evidenced by work samples.Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with the following is a plus :
Experience with IT implementations for ERP / PLM / CPQ systems like Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc., is preferred.Familiarity with enterprise business systems (, Oracle EBS, Salesforce, NetSuite) is required.Experience using training tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline 360, Canva, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, WalkMe, and others is a plus.Experience creating eLearning modules, job aids, work instructions, and technical documentation.Proficiency with basic software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Smartsheet, SharePoint, SnagIt).A basic understanding of project management principles (time management, organization, communication) is preferred.Training or Instructional Design certifications (CompTIA CTT+, ATD) are a plus.Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field is preferred.Candidates must be willing to learn any areas they lack experience in.The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
