About the Role:

We are seeking a Dry Utilities Engineer to perform design projects, including analysis, evaluation, design reports, calculations, and drawings for projects that will be assigned in accordance with standards and GHD procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop concept and detailed designs for dry services infrastructure, design reports, drawings, and schedules.
• Lead high-quality drawing production in collaboration with drafting teams.
• Prepare tender submissions.
• Operate within established project management frameworks to achieve
  defined goals.
• Design all electrical systems ensuring compliance with standards, local regulations, and authority requirements such as DEWA, ADDC, and UAE Fire Life and Safety.
• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for all the electrical systems, such as interior and exterior lighting design, small power distribution, cable routing, fire alarm, earthing, and lightning protection.
• Prepare comprehensive electrical design documents, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical reports, utilizing ACAD (AutoCAD), Revit, and Navisworks.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of +7 years’ design experience, experience in Middle East projects is preferable.
• Extensive experience in engineering and design of Dry Utilities Infrastructure systems.
• Proven track record in dry utilities infrastructure design with different types of sectors, including high rise, commercial, residential, Healthcare, Industrial, Storage, etc;
• Knowledge of electrical calculations using ETAP & Sincal.
• Software capability in Civil3D.
• Detailed knowledge of international design standards, DEWA, ADDC, UAE Fire Life and Safety, and NFPA, etc
• Able to manage several jobs at once and determine priorities
• Strong judgement and decisiveness; bias for action
• Understand and adhere to GHD’s values, Codes of Conduct, and Policies
• Proactive, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
