Job Description
The Sales Trainer supports the learning development of both Inside and Outside Sales teams through onboarding and ongoing training. This role builds product knowledge, strengthens communication skills, and ensures the Sales team can confidently position Cybersecurity services while reinforcing client value. By focusing on both skill development and client retention, the Sales Trainer helps create consistent messaging, stronger customer relationships, and improved sales effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities :
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify individual and team skills gaps.
Create and deliver training programs for new Inside and Outside Sales team members.
Train sales staff on best practices for expectation-setting, value communication, and handoff to Client Success Team.
Integrate client feedback and retention insights into training programs to align with customer needs.
Maintain learning content and resources that reflect current MSP& MSSP offerings and security industry trends.
Track, analyze, and report on training effectiveness, providing actionable insights to Sales leadership.
Job Qualifications :
2+ years in Sales training, ideally within Cybersecurity, MSSP / MSP.
Demonstrated success supporting Sales teams in high-growth organizations.
Good grasp of MSP & Cybersecurity support services and / or B2B Technology Sales.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement platforms (ConnectWise, Salesforce, HubSpot, Highspot, Gong, etc.) is preferred.
Collaborative, data-driven, and adaptable to a rapidly changing MSP & MSSP landscape.
Client-Focused Perspective : Ensures training doesn’t just drive activity, but also builds trust and value with clients, which supports long-term retention.
Understanding of Inside and Outside sales metrics
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Organized and has great attention to detail.
Job Requirements :
A home office set up that meets the following :
Computer : A working computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and one of the following :
Windows 11 with an Intel i5 or i7 (8th generation or newer), or
AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 (2000 series or newer), or
macOS 12 or newer.
Internet : Stable internet connection with at least 5 Mbps download and upload speeds.
Audio Equipment : A quality headset with a noise-cancellation feature for meetings.
Mobile Device : A smartphone capable of installing the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Webcam : An HD webcam for video calls.

Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
Able to work full time 40 hours a week - 8 : 00AM to 5 : 00PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST) from Monday to Friday.
Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments.
Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants).
Compensation :
Pay rate starts at $5.50 / hour and may vary by experience and location.
