Job Overview
The Field Service Engineer (Licensed Electrical Engineer) provides electro-mechanical expertise for field service, equipment troubleshooting, project execution, and customer coordination for port equipment, cranes, and industrial machinery.
This role requires a highly skilled engineer capable of leading onsite tasks, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with the Service and Sales Teams to deliver the commitment : “Only the Best for the Customer.”
Key Responsibilities :
Field Service & Technical Duties
- Conduct site inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and technical reporting.
- Read and modify PLC programs as needed onsite.
- Perform basic mechanical tasks to support repairs and maintenance.
- Use instruments such as IR tester, multimeter, and other diagnostic tools.
- Lead and supervise skilled technicians during project execution.
- Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Prepare Gantt charts, method statements, and manpower plans for project rollout.
- Assist and coordinate with principals during site visits, inspections, and execution.
Customer Relations & Project Planning
Meet customers during site inspections to discuss scope, methodology, safety protocols, and expectations.Prepare comprehensive Job Order Proposals aligned with customer requirements.Collaborate with the Sales Team to strengthen customer confidence and support successful project acquisition.Qualifications : Education
Bachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringLicensed Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) – requiredExperience
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in field service, electro-mechanical work, or engineering project execution.Background and experience in the crane business is an advantage.Technical Skills
Ability to read and modify basic PLC programsStrong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systemsAbility to read electrical and hydraulic schematicsSkilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysisKnowledgeable in project planning and site executionProficient in preparing technical reports and documentationSoft Skills
