SAP BASIS / Environment Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS professional to join as an Environment Manager (Manager level) . This role is pivotal in managing and maintaining the technical landscape of SAP S / 4HANA implementations, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, deep BASIS expertise, and hands-on experience managing complex SAP landscapes and project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP BASIS team in managing technical landscapes for SAP S / 4HANA projects.
• Oversee system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management across all SAP environments.
• Manage SAP systems across development, quality, pre-production, and production landscapes.
• Define and execute environment strategies, including refresh cycles, transport management, and cutover planning.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure high system availability, performance, and compliance.
• Support RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP BTP deployments and integrations.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, job scheduling, and interface stability.
• Enforce adherence to change management, incident management, and release management processes.
• Provide technical leadership during go-lives, disaster recovery activities, and system audits.
• Mentor junior BASIS consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.
