Responsibilities :
Materials Planning & Supply Management
- Plan and manage material requirements using SAP MRP to support demand plans, ensure system integrity, prevent line stoppages, and manage shortages / excesses.
- Raise, maintain, and resolve Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, including rescheduling, cancellations, delivery issues, and A / P-related concerns.
- Serve as the SBU’s central materials resource for quality, business, and supply issues, including QAN / MRB disposition, containment actions, and process improvements.
- Participate in category, plant, and Head Office coordination meetings.
Contract & Compliance Management
Review, renegotiate, modify, extend, renew, or terminate contracts as needed, with documented business justification.Ensure compliance with contract requirements, audit standards, bonds, insurance, SLAs, and local / international agreements in coordination with Legal and internal stakeholders.Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
Execute sourcing and procurement activities in line with company policies to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery.Implement demand planning, cost optimization, and negotiation strategies for materials, equipment, and services, including bid evaluation and PO / contract approvals within authority limits.Monitor supplier performance, delivery execution, and issue resolution across undelivered, delayed, short, or disputed orders.Vendor, Performance & Continuous Improvement
Optimize local and international sourcing through effective use of approved vendor base and agreements to eliminate maverick buying and drive savings.Collaborate with Category Managers and stakeholders to leverage enterprise-wide sourcing opportunities and improve supplier performance.Drive continuous process improvements to reduce cycle time, improve service levels, and enhance customer satisfaction.Qualifications and Requirements :
Degree in Engineering, Law, Political Science, Stat, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields; MBA or Supply Chain certifications or equivalent, a plus but not required3 years of experience in contracts and procurement operations, as well as handling service providersBroad knowledge in the energy industry and on commercial issuesContract compliance and audit proceduresContract negotiation experience with local and international vendors / suppliers.Experience in Vendor managementExperience in strategic sourcingExperience in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) processesExperience in management and deployment of procurement processes
